To the new website of Sutton Parish Council
Sutton lies about one mile east of Rochford in the county of Essex.
Sutton Parish is made up of the hamlets of Sutton and Shopland.
The majority of the area consists of arable farmland with the River
Roach to its northern and the Prittle Brook to its western boundaries,
Barling Magna to the East and Southend on Sea to the South.
The civil parish of Sutton comes within the administrative area of the
Rochford District Council.
